Jedi Mind Fuck (JMF)

The origin of this strain is unknown, but it’s thought to have been a genetic off-shoot from the Z-Strain.

While there’s a lot of debate around the qualitative experience different strains can or can’t produce, this one is often regarded for its strong, long-lasting hallucinations

In the Star Wars universe, the Jedi are a quasi-religious order of warrior monks who use the Force to maintain order and justice throughout the galaxy.

One of their iconic abilities is known as Jedi Mind Tricks. This is the ability to influence the thoughts and emotions of others without their awareness using the Force. 

Jedi Mind Fuck (JMF) shrooms are inspired by this Star Wars concept for their powerful effects on the mind.

Some people link the unique name of this strain with its powerful hallucinations and profound reflective nature, which can feel so intense that the mushrooms seem to temporarily take over one’s mind and emotions.

The JMF has become a hugely popular Psilocybe cubensis strain, despite being a relatively new kid on the block. First appearing in the early 2000’s, it didn’t take long for these spores to become some of the most sought after of all the cubensis strains. A prolific fruiter, it produces large chestnut-brown caps and heavy, dark spore prints.
